QUALIFICATIONS
- Teaching Japanese language privately and at New York area schools for over10 years, including at Nippon Club, The New School, Hunter College and The City College of NY.
- Certified by the Naganuma Shizu Kimono School as a Master Kimono Teacher and in 2007, established the “Kimono Experience” initiative in New York City, presenting the rich tradition of Kimono at various public events.
- Has run various Japanese Cultural Workshops (Kimono, Japanese calligraphy and Japanese food) since 2005 in NYC public schools and privately.
Private in – home lesson rate: $125/hour
